Certain antibiotics slightly affect protein synthasis, but nothing to lose sleep over. You will be fine.

HGH is quite friendly with most antibiotics so you will more than likely be ok but it really depends on your condition and what you're excatly taking.

Are you sure you are not refering to minocycline? Either way, I hate anything from the cycline group. It kills my sex drive and strength. My buddy (in medical feild) refers to them as Chemo drugs due to some nasty sides one can get. I personally had to take mine due to a deep tissue infection in my calf. They put me on 2 IV antibiotics to start, and gave me a script for Keflex and Tetra (maybe Mino...forgot). Killed me

People are too quick to think that they need antibiotics at all. When you say you have a chest infection, how do you know its an infection? An infection would mean that you have some form of pneumonia, and if you do, and it is viral, then antibiotics wont touch it. If it is an bacterial infection, then amoxicyllin is NOT the right kind of antibiotics. If you have a productive cough, meaning that you are coughing up alot of phlemn, and a sore throat, you could just have a cold or mild flu. But before you go and build your bodies immune system up against antibiiotics without even knowing that what you have is bacterial, then your just wasting your time and antibiotics that can be used for some other time. If you do in fact have a chest infection, and can see a doc, go get a chest xray, and that will give you an indication as to whether or not you even need to take anything other thatn over the counter cold/flu remedies.
I have and still work in the medical field for years, and am an RT, so I know what I am say and talking about,. Everyone is becoming antibiotic resistant these days because doctors RX antibiotics for any little thing that comes along, or because peole have extra antibiotics left over from some previous condition and take them for something, and is the wrong antibiotic in the first place. If what you have in your chest is real bad, productive cough, short of brerath, have you been febrile (fever), these are indications that you should see a doctor and ASK for a CXR (chest xray).
    good luck bro
