Well that's a problem.

You can't make consistent improvements if you are not consistent in your approach.

Weight is a number... not a quality.

You should not seek to maintain 'weight', unless 'weight' is functional (i.e. you require it for sport or safety), but muscle.

I think your thought process needs restructuring.
