    oh im working. well acting like it when the boss goes by. gotta do some recieving and inventory. and also find out whats wrong with my car. i just got a new starter on it. but now its not starting everytime. so im hoping its the relay switch. but someone told me its solenoid. though the solenoid is part of the starter. so that should of been replaced. fvcking mechanics.

    I was a mechanic for a brief time. Certain cars have the solenoid separate from the starter (old chevy,gmc), on others it's part of the starter (old chrysler,dodge,plymouth). I never did much work on modern vehicles (or fords), so I'm kinda useless in that regard.
    What kind of car?

    not too old, an 03, it has 220k on it, I drive a lot. I went around a corner and the check oil light went on and from then on smokes like a bastard burns a quart every couple days and you can actually hear the valves tapping.

    I've got an 06' saab 9-3 now with a 5 speed, a little more sporty and better gas milage. Got no choice but to fix the old girl though, nobody would buy it the way it is.

    i see. i just got another subaru and it started great for a week. now its all fvcked up and only starting when it feels like it. it just got a new starter. but i think they used the old solenoid and thats whats bad. but no one sells just the solenoid for it so i have to get a whole new starter again.
