Dosages are usually around 40mg-120mg depending on the severity when on accutane. Dermatologists usually prescribe it for 4 to 6 months. I was on it for 5 months and had been taking a prohormone. No matter how much water I drank it wasnt enough. My piss kept getting darker and darker, I kept thinking my kidneys and liver would go out on me. Your lips get chaped pretty bad if you dont carry a chapstick around everyday and your face peels if you dont moisturize. I got mild joint pains and pretty bad back pain. Also, if you are prescribed accutane you will be blood tested every month. I ended up not taking the last month of it because my doctor caught a bad blood test before the last month. Although, it didn't help that I had been drinking excessively every night for one whole week, smoking, and taking pain killers, especially pain killers. It has been 3 weeks since I stopped accutane, the unnecessary pain killers, and the excessive drinking. I have never felt so disoriented in my life. Since steroids are more harmful than prohormones and they are stacked with other mean stuff, taking accutane will mess you up just as much or worse. I suggest waiting until you feel ready for it. You should be alright. Just dont do everything all at one time. That was my mistake because i never think before i do, Im still 18. Other than that... Im acne free, even after I fall on my face in mounds of dirt and keep playing soccer or volleyball or football for hours outside in the heat without washing it off. The joint and back pains reside after the third month if training properly. I was easy on my back for those months then started hiting it hard. I kept all of the weight i had gained as well. Also, Accutane dries out your water weight. I drank close to 120 oz of water and more sometimes and my piss was still yellow.
