hey i just got done reading this from drugs.com :
gamma oryzanol
Human studies using gamma oryganol for hyperlipidemias also are promising. Reduced total cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and increased HDL levels were noted in hyperlipidemic patients given gamma oryzanol.
i dont know how reliable these statements are but from what ive read on this forum, gamma oryzanol (typically sold as a mass building supplement) is crap. perhaps though, it will help your triglyceride problem.
-ALSO- from the same website, heres some info on flax seed oil
Cholesterol control
Dietary flaxseed has been used to improve the lipid profile in cardiovascular disease. Evidence indicates that flax-supplemented diets reduce the atherogenic risk in humans. Clinical studies show that a flaxseed regimen significantly lowered LDL cholesterol levels. Significant interest continues to be centered on the ability of diets rich in flax to improve the blood lipid profile.
Remember that diet is the number one thing you can do. Hope this helps!
