whats wrong with a chicken breast on wheat?
I usually take off the top layer of bread (too much bread) and down that bad boy and don't count it as cheating.

how can subway be considered a cheat???

i eat it everyday!! Literally!! here is what i get

Wheat Bread 6 inch with the inside bread taken out
    Double Spicy Turkey
    Mustard
    Then i toast it
    then add
    lettuce
    3 tomatoes
    spinach
    green bell peppers
    jalapenos
    onions
    pepper
    oregano
    and vinegar and olive oil

then i usually make me 1 scoop of chocolate whey protein

    should average to about

    Protein - 42g
    Carbs - 39g
    Fat - 12-16g

i dont see any harm in this sandwhich at all, and for someone that manages a family business, this is very very convenient for me, even though its like $5.40 everyday

Ok, just for a quick example... look at abbots avatar. Do you think he looks like that eating subway subs everyday? Do you have abbots type of build from eating subway subs everyday? Im going to guess no. You are what you eat. Cheat meals go for it, otherwise there are better choices.

I spend about 2 hours on my off day doing food prep for the week. Get yourself a big ass forman grill with some chicken, fish, steak, turkey, whatever. Put whatver you're cooking on the grill. A large grill will fit 10 6 oz protions. 10 min and you've got yourself 10 meals worth of protein. 30 mins and you've got yourself 30 meals worth of protein. While you're doing that stick 3 or 4 patato's in a plastic wal-mart bag, tie the ends, and stick in the microwave for 5 mins. In 30 min you've got 24 baked potato's. While doing this put as many vegetables as you can fit in a steamer. Cook them. In 30 min you've got a hell of a lot done. If you're eating 5 real meals a day (you should have more than 5, but I'm not including shakes) then you have enough protein for 6 days. If you have another 30 min cook up some more carb sources. In an hour you can have your entire week prepared. This isn't hard. Go buy yourself an ice chest and put your food in it everyday. If you're out and about and don't have a microwave to heat it up. Stop at a gas station and ask if you can use there microwave. It shouldn't be a problem. This is much better than subway especially if you're bulking. If you're set on Subway, make sure you go double meat.

Side note: Fish kinda scares me and I don't like refrigerating it for 6 days so I usually only cook enough for a day or two. Again 10 min on a forman grill will cook a lot of food.

If your eating for convenience and taste then chances are you aren't eating for performance....but ya know whatever works for you and helps you hit your personal goals. But yeah I know my body and I know my long-term goals and subway everyday def wouldnt be an option for me, regardless of what your getting.

NP It just gets annoying that people find whatever excuse they can to eat poorly. Until you fine tune your diet correctly, just except the fact you will plateau and wont look any better, other than bulk from muscle gain.
