    Any guitar players out there?

If so, what kind of gear you play? I play a Telecaster and a Les paul.

I've got an Alvarez FD60AMB Acoustic, an old Yamaha classical and a pretty nice Rodriguez classical. Can't rock out with the electric where I am.

BC Rich exclusive (EMG 81/85 pickups)
Epiphone Les Paul with some tweaking (EMG 81/85 pickups)
Ibanez RG2228 8 string (my baby, cost a decent chunk of change but it's amazing)

For live I use a Marshall JCM 900 100 watt head, and a 4X12 marshall cab. Looking into a new amp though, and at home I have my POD X3 and several other little amps and pedals.

I didn't bother mentioning my acoustics cause they're cheap and haggard.

i play guitar.i own many but my favorite is my Dean Hardtail. when thay first came out thay were a boutique item.u had to go online to find wich shops had one.thay only made 1000 i thinck, and i got number 2. its basicly a PRS knockoff but it is sweet. thay were hand made and mine is singed by Dean Zalinsky himself.the rest are assorted fender and gibsons which are all great i just really love the Dean, go figure.

Everyone should record themselves playing a little clip, we'll have a lounge talent show.

you bet. how do you like the tone on yours? i find mine is kind of harsh for lead, needs a lot of effects to keep it from being brittle. any tips?

Which channel do you use ? I love the crunch channel. I use the ultra more for an old school type of sound. (think AC/DC sound)

I keep the gain lower on the ultra ... maybe around 3-4-5 ... and for the crunch I'm usually around 7-8-9

Also, I turn the effects knob on the back all the way up. Then when I hit the effects button on the XXX footswitch it gives it a boost so you can cut through everything else.

I like the tone of it ... I've been thinking about getting new tubes but I'm not sure if I should.

Gibson les paul classic for standard and drop d and an esp viper for drop c. Currently just playing through my epiphone valve jr with some pedals for practice till I get a new head to jam with. Probably a mesa or framus cobra. Maybe a 5150 but honestly as much as I love the tone I just can't use that much power.
