im sooo excited, and i just cant hide it, im about to lose control and i think i like it!!! WHOOOOOOO!!! so i just went grocery shopping, got to the register with about 5 lbs of lean ground turkay among other things. the turkey, which is usually 2 bucks per pound, rang up as 1 dollar per lb!!! i had to go back and grab and armful. assuming it's still 1 dollar per pound tomorrow, im gonna go back and buy like 30 lbs of that shit

Mostly anything is good after freezing actually if you boil it for a couple mins before.
Raw broccoli, carrots, peppers, onions, salmon, etc.
I dont know if theres a science behind it but my mom always use to boil things right before she froze them and they never got shitty in the freezer.

I always tend to hit up Aldis because its 5 mins from my uni & the cheapest around.
BJ's also has good deals but I usually find cheaper at Aldis (like $1.15 for 12 eggs). I never go to an actual supermarket anymore like Shoprite or Pathmark, they suck with their prices.

Yeh at Aldis, its $3.49 for 5lbs, x 3 so its around 11 bucks with tax.
I boil the crap out of it and freeze it for the week.

never heard of any of those places. must be a northeast thing. as much as i would love to support the little guy, im just too poor to shop anywhere other than wal-mart. i can get nearly twice the food as Gerbs or Hy-Vee for the same money
