    type of training on Halo

just wondering what is the best type of lifting to do for strength when using Halo? Heavy or light + more reps?

i reckon heavy weights with low reps (1-7reps) to build max strength. light weights with high reps are for building bulk.

really? I always thought going heavy was for mass if you eat correctly or medium (10 reps and heavy) but mabye ill try that for a bulking before i take halo a few months from now....thanks for the info. Heavy sounds goooood

alot of strength athletes focus on lower reps when training for strength and/or power... the higher reps train more endurance and increase hypertrophy while lower reps target your nervous system more. Since halo is a strength booster and you want "pure strength... and tons of it" then i suggest staying in the lower rep range with the compound lifts. best of luck!!

also for strength you dont want to be doing set after set of isolation work, limit your time in the gym that way youll be at more of a caloric excess each day and pack on the pounds and allow your muscles to repair after damage caused from low rep-high intensity training.

nah, lifting heavy (e.g: max of what u can do for 7-1reps) builds up pure strength n power. make sure u get sufficient rest between each set for heavy lifting.

u dun need to bulk to build strength. its a different training method all togther.
