I wondered if it could be a good idea, before using gear, to systematically add some benzylic alcohol into it ?

so to be totally sure your gear is 100% sterile before injection ?

well adding more BA can give it more of a bite.

If you're sure your source has a good product and I was that concerned, I either refilter or ditch it. you really shouldn't need to bump up the BA if it was processed properly.

if its in vials, if unsure like with the old mexi stuff,, pop an 18 g in the top of the vial and put the vial in some boiling water for a bit (takeboiling water off heat) let it sit till it cools down, repeat, and u should be good

Boiling isn't a surefire answer by any means, but that's up to you.

No, you should have no reason to do this, adding extra BA to bad gear anyway will not stop the remote possibilty of getting an abcess.

If you're going to boil it to be effective, you need an autoclave. Boiling won't raise the temperature to anywhere near the requirements for killing micro organisms.
