I use both. Don't use much more then 5g of fish oils.

Flax is fundamental supplement for bodybuilding in my opinion

Fish oil vs Flaxseed oil, how I look at it, it's a vegetarians way of getting 0mega-3 in the diet and if you use flaxseed instead of in the form of oil you get a great fiber source. Flax tends to be more expensive but they are both a great way of getting 0mega-3 in the diet.

I use both. Don't use much more then 5g of fish oils.
Whats wrong with using more than 5g of fish oil?

Depends on the fish oil, how concentrated the epa dha is. But besides that point, whats so special about 0mega-6 anyways? The body can produce it unlike 0mega-3

Good thread, thanks but it doesn't denounce any of my previous statements besides saying that they are both great when in actuality fish oil is the better of the two (as long as it's high quality).

Supposedly the best location to get the actual fish from is cold deep waters. Other than that you would have to check with the manufacturers to see how well they molecularly distill the oil for toxins like dioxins, mercury, lead, etc.

getting 0mega-3 in the diet helps with everything (skin, hair, heart health, etc) especially joint lubrication.

The recent studies released stating high oil diets that show a substantial increase in proetin synthesis, were done on fish oil, primarily omeg a -3.

Thats why I now take about 25-30g/ED of it.

It also boost the metabolic rate.
