I do, i cant help it. I've come to realise that i do it subconsciously.
Im bigger/smaller than him sorta thing.
yes.
no.

Yup.
Yup..
All the time....
Guilty and I don't care
Yup.
Happens without even thinking about it...
Also, "I wonder what his diet's like, he could be a lot bigger" and stuff like that...
yup.....always....and often in conjunction with a thought along the lines of "he's not worthy of his gf, she should be with me" kinda thing
always
not really, i dont care. I notice if others are in good shape but could care less if they are bigger or smaller.
hell yes...
I always want to ask who im with if Im bigger than him or not.
Yep. It's something I'd like to stop doing but I can't help it. Never really even thought about it until now though. Women do it too though. I think it's just a competitive thing.
always want to know if they cycle or what they eat lol
of course, this site is dedicated to the pursuit of making our bodies bigger, stronger, better whatever....so our mindset is to be the biggest and baddest everywhere, hence we all are going to size up everyone we see
My problem is, I size them up in a fighting way. How I would take them down or if I'd wanna stand and trade with them. I'll be doing cardio and some guy will cross my line of vision and then I'll just day dream about fighting him for a good 30 mins or so. Its almost like I black out to everything around me except him. Am I crazy ???
I used to but once I got to the point where I was bigger then most people I stopped, the only time I notice myself doing it is when I'm at the Arnold or the Olympia expo.
Nope all them bitches size me up.
yep.
esp if they are older with a moustache.
woohaw![]()
Yeppers
i try and pick who cycles, who competes, ect. ect. and i really appreciate the big guys because i know how hard it must be to get huge so alot of respect...
yep, i think its part of being an alpha male
It's natural and I think everyone, guys and girls, do it even if only on a subconscious level.
It is hard not to after 10 yrs in stir! It is a survival mechanism that is ingrained.
i dont give a shit about people. so i give less of a shit how they look.
i feel confident of my self so not really, maybe sometimes but i never payed that much attention to others.
I used to, but i would always take it one step further. If i thought they looked like they could really fight, then i would just go and fight them. I would just walk up to strangers and start hitting them. I ended up getting into shit loads of trouble with the law.
Anyway i think its a young guy thing, im much older now and couldnt care what others look like. Even though i sometimes miss a good read and write..
yea guilty for me aswell.
but i dont really go into it.
All the really big guys at my gym wear loose clothes so you cant see truely how big they would look, but they are fuking huge in an XXL shirt
how could you not? It's part of the sport![]()
i honestly dont. i have a friend who used to do it all the time when we went out and i hated it. he would constantly ask if i thought someone was bigger then him. i honestly dont do this and cant understand why anyone would. of course if i see someone who is 300+lbs and ripped it catches my attention but im not staring at him sizing him up like some of you. i care about myself and i dont really care how someone else looks. now if you compete then thats a different story and of course your always comparing yourself to others
Yup, then I ask my girl to honestly tell me if Im bigger.....funny thing is, Im always bigger LOL !!!!!

I do but not in a size sense..... I dont trust anybody i dont know and always "size people up" i.e read their body language to pre-empt the possibility for any incoming attack. Call me paranoid but i believe in hitting first and hitting hardest.

Yeah exactly. Size is a small fraction of what people are capable of. When workling the doors i noticed the ones who were the biggest (trained big) were some of the most genuine and nicest guys around.
I think my suspicion got the better of me and was only recently told by a coach always to rememeber that, there are far more good people in this world than bad...
but never the less
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
