He should up the Adex dosage while taking nolva at 40mg (bump up to 60mg if its still bother him) till the gyno subsides.

The adex will limit estrogen in the body while the nolva prevents the estrogen that is circulating to not bind with the breast tissue.
why is estrogen necessary for gains?. however from what you siad it sounds like that ou should use adex to lower estrogen level, and just in case any estrogen binds to breast tissure take nolva as well.

Research has shown that Estrogen increases the mitogen activated protein kinase cascade, localized IGF-1, and an increase in system growth hormone levels.

The protein kinase cascade is an important reaction for IGF-1 and insulin to cause their anabolic effect. The raising of Growth hormone as a result of estrogen, also plays a synergistic role with testosterone and other anabolic hormones. Estrogen also helps in the process of retaining water, which can help cell volumization and ultimately leads to increased protein synthesis.

So you need some estrogen in the body to help you grow.

And yes to the last part of your statement, thats what I said. Letro is only recommended if you have a history of gyno and that your are sensitive to estrogen levels.
