I'm debating if I should continue German or start another language. My German is at the point where what I'd really benefit from is immersion-- living in a German speaking area. I'm not sure there's too much room for improvement in the classroom. I need practice.

I'm thinking maybe French next.

french is gay. Sadly here companies want spanish, english, german and frenc speakers (with all 4 languages).

It's possible that it will make you some $, absolutely. Most universities will require you to have at least a masters degree in the language to teach it, but translators, language school teachers, and likely the military have no such rules.
