well....tell them to go to hell....using chalk makes it safer....i yelled at a dumbass working in my gym the other day because the morons keep cleaning the bars and i didn't use chalk on my set of 225 on bench and the bar was so slippery that by the end of my set i couldn't rack it cuz my hands had slid too far out.
