It has nothing to do with creating a more potent or pure version of dihydrocodeinone. It simply has to do with seperating the two compounds in Vicodin, allowing the person consuming to choose how much of each drug they ingest.

I completely understand your worry about him getting addicted, but it is irrelevant to what I am suggesting.
