lol kratos i don't feel like quoting that whole thing, but yeah i definitely know about the oversteer and understeer. i've driven a decent spectrum of cars, mostly my friends, so a few bmws, a benz, a cobra, a 00 a4, an 08 a4, some nissans, a couple hondas, and others. the fwd ones with actual power definitely lift up in the front.

i thought a lot of saabs were awd? my dads bmw is rwd and handles snow decently. its not very powerful (2.5l i6, i think 186hp?) it makes it up the hills to my house fairly well. the WORST car i've ever seen in the snow is my moms avalon. its an 07 fully loaded, with fwd, and the japanese didn't think to put in a button to turn off traction control. seriously, this thing will get on any incline with snow, make it up 5 ft, then slide back down cause it won't even let you spin the tires.... worst thing i've ever seen. oh yeah, not to mention it feels like you are riding in a boat among the clouds. i don't like that car at all.

for that vw, its just crazy they would think of that. the car is way too small for that much power, and it could never be practical. but its interesting to see what they can come up with.

and in general, i like rwd more than fwd. awd can be iffy, but a good system on a good car is nice.
