Well that is just a general guideline if you want a quick "estimate" for total macro's. Its just like your total daily energy expenditure calculations, they are never exactly perfect and vary depending on the individual's metabolism.
But that forumla is a quick way to get a good idea. From there you play with numbers until you find what works best for you. Obiously some people do keto some dont etc.
I never liked keto myself and always have some carbs.
The thing about diet is that everytime you do it you figure out something else that works or DOESNT work for you. You change it next time and then again after that etc.
Take this diet for example, I have changed it greatly from this. I can definitely post up a new diet that I tend to follow now if people like.
