On a serious note jamy, it depends on the causation of enlarged heart, obiviously you know tons more about this then I do so I am not going to try to sound like I am on your level, but if the heart enlargement is because of high endurance training over course of years it is different than if the heart enlarges because of outside forces such as bad diet or being obese.

Alot of high endurance athlethes/footballer players have enlarged hearts, the heart is a muscle after all man.

Now the use of gear in the long run will probably lead to surgery on the left ventricle, I think Arnold and other top bodybuilders have gotten that surgery in the past.
