Thread: Is my cycle ok?

    thanks for the response.

    My Workout consists of swimming 3 mornings a week for an hour and free weights 5 days a week for an hour.

    I recon i take in about 2500 calories per day on my diet this is what i try to eat when on my diet plan.

    Morning, Ceareal and Complan this is the info on what i'm getting from complan

    Around 11:30 i make up some pasta and tuna dishes for the day. Recipe is 9 handfuls of pasta and 2 tins of tuna which i spread out into 3 portions. I eat one immediately after makign and refridgarate the other 2.

    Around 3pm i eat another pasta dish

    Around 4:30pm i have another complan

    Around 7pm i have my main meal with the rest of the family and varies each day from lazagne to raost dinner to fish and new potatoes teh typical evening meal stuff.

    Around 10pm i have my final pasta dish.

    This was teh diet which showed me an increase in weight of 17lb over 3 months and i thought i was onto a winner until the gains slowly but surely stopped so i introduced another complan but no change so this was when i gave up on the diet. Eating anymore in a day really drains me and has physical interuption to my work life.

    I would love to handle my weight gain with out steroids but i feel i have tried the natural way and stopped gaining. I now have a steady weight of 145lb but no more gains and therefore stopped what i thought was a heavy diet so i could focus back on my work. I am self employed so eating around my working horus is easy but i foudn i was constantly bloated and had no drive to work feelign tierd around 3pm in the afternoon and needing abit of a sleep.

    i will checkout the diet forum now but thought i would post this first incase you had other advice

    just noticed teh other 2 comments after posting saying steroids will do nothign for me until im up around the 200lb area i dont think i want to weigh that much, beign skinny all my life thinkign of weighing that much is a bit too much for me. I guess from what you guys are sayign i just need to eat more and continue to force feed myself.

    I here your comments about eating 6-8 meals a day that is just not possible for me i got small stomach or somet i guess cos i struggle to eat what i put in my previous post.

    Just to highlight my point i don't want to just gain lean musle it is more importnt for me to gain the weight. and hit a target of around 170lb.

    Again thanks for the comments. The one about my cycle not beign a cycle and sucking was interesting in that i read alot of info and this appeared to an ok begginers cycle but guess not

    my diet sucks, you love the words sucks but hey your giving it to me straight and i like it

    Ok i think from what i have posted it looks like im doing it all wrong so going to checkout the diet forum and see what i can put right

    In my defence i did gain 17lb with that diet so it couldnt have been that bad to get me started but yeah i agree now its time to step it up a bit as my gains have stopped

    thanks again, any weekly diet plan advice anyone has liek what to eat and when to eat would be great whilst i check out the diet forums

    with the diet plan its easy to say eat 6-8 meals a day but how am i to fit that in around work? i cant cook 6 times a day whilst working i wouldnt get anythign done lol.

    Any tips on making up meals which can be reheated or eaten cold throughout the day which are high in protein?

    is the pasta and tuna meal good but need to eat more of it with a mixture of other food or is the pasta all wrong, i was of the opinion pasta was good in a bulkign up diet?

    whole chickens, roasts, heaps of stuff man, eat loads, if i was you id throw in some dirty meals to, because you are really light

    i gotta say this once WOW!!!!!

    I can't beleive how many responses i've had in such a small period of time, this forum is somethign i could hav edone with when i was 18 and had problems with my weight but cant turn back the hands of time.

    I really do appreciate all this advice, i'm glasd the word sucked was used cos your tellign me it straight and boy has it opened my eyes quickly also seeign you guys tell me i need to eat a damn lot more well i thought i was eating alot i guess not, gotta workout a way to get more food in my little body

    As for beign light yep i'm a little weekling, always have been but i am trying to do somet about it rather than sitting on my arse and accepting it

    I wanna be a manly man, not a dweeb so the harsh comments are really helpful and a kick up the asre

    Yeah bud looking good takes dedicated hard work, u must make training and food one of your biggest priortities.. Train hard and eat big.

    Dude, don't take steroids. Jesus.

    First of all, cut the hour of swimming down if you're having trouble putting on mass.

    2nd of all, you need time to recover. Although you didn't go into much detail, I have a feeling your 5 day split using free weights is not going to cut it. Heavy compound movements, (squats, bench press, dead-lifts, rows). A 3day split with a day off in-between workouts is better, (workout one body-part a week to start off).

    3rd, diet. The most important thing. You're not going to get bigger if you don't consume more calories than your burn. Period. Whether you take steroids or not. Check out the diet section, there are plenty of ways to eat on the go, (tuna mixed with swiss cheese, cold grilled chicken from the deli, natty peanut butter sandwiches with whole wheat bread, etc).

    Just an FYI, I was your size, (actually even skinnier) when I joined this forum back in 02. My thread was a duplicate of yours, "I can't get bigger and I want to take a cycle". The truth is, that was bullshit. When I learned the correct way to lift & eat I started gaining. To this day I'm still natural and nearly 230lbs. I'm glad I listened to the people on this forum telling me not to juice. I suggest you do the same!!

    Great post, good to hear other people have been in my situation and come through it with great gains without the need for steroids. I guess my mentality of no longer gainign and not beign happy with my size forced my hand into thinking steroids were the next step but i can see already that its best to force my body to eat more, grrr why am i typing and nto eating lol

    Whey Protein i see is good as part of the diet and post workout, anyone recommend a good one, it appears there is loads to choose from on the market

    I meant no offense by telling you it sucked, BUT need you to understand that what you are eating is NOT gonna make you grow.

    and the 17 lbs you gained, I would like to know how much of that was FAT and how much was lean muscle.

    as far as the cycle sucking, well, it does. Not sure where you are getting your information on it , but it is NOT smart to take a substance that is going to SHUT DOWN your body's natural testosterone without replacing the Test you are LOSING !!! Your body needs testosterone...its the one hormone that makes men MEN !!! You do NOT want your body going without it !!
