I am 29 years old and stand 5'7" and weigh 170 lbs. I am genetically a very skinny guy and it probably didnt help that I was a drug addict (amphetamines) when I was in my early twenties. At one point I weighed only 127lbs and was embarrassed to take my shirt off in public. My wife (girlfriend at the time) convinced me to clean up and I began to feel a lot better, so as a new years resolution for 2005, I decided to take up exercising to get in shape. I was very impressed with the way my body adapted to it and began lifting seriously the next year with weights that I had picked up at various garage sales. Last year I joined a really good gym and I just cant seem to get enough of it. My goal is to put on another 15 lbs in the next 3 months. I have never really considered myself a bodybuilder since I am still too small, but I do admire them for their dedication and hard work. I would love to give a competition a try once I pack on a little more weight.
