ok so i had torrent (utorrent) already downloaded and vlc player....should i be good to go...i tried to download a movie but i wouldnt play...how do you know which file to download? is it just trial and error or something you can look for?

You have to look at the file extension Examples Movie.mpeg Movie.avi movie.divx

Most movies are Avi and divx. You might want to download divx at http://www.divx.com/en/win but VLC is a good player as well.

I'd personally recommend isohunt over anything for movies.

Just go to isohunt, type a movie your looking for, and READ THE FEEDBACK from people.
You'll know if the movie is good by doing that.

If you'd like to take it further and burn your own dvds, xilosoft dvd creator you can rip from piratebay (another good torrent site, just better for software not movies). Takes about 1 1/2 hours to burn to dvd and walah

I will only use Demonoid.com! It is hard to become a member so it is noce. not a lot of Viruses so most of the torrents are safe! The other sites like The Pirate Bay.com are loaded with viruses and bugs

Why the hell would you download when you can see it streaming online? Only time I would download is if the movie doesn't have a clear picture.

Well thats the reason. Streaming video doesn't compare to a DVD quality and or HD.

There are DVD rips my friend, ever heard of DivX? Or hell even Megavideo has HD or at least DVD quality.

I watched The New Wolverine movie on perfect quality, Torrents open the way for viruses

The only ones that dont have amazing quality are the ones that are in the movie theaters which obiviously somone has to film. But if you wait a few weeks or a month usually a DVD rip is put on there from people who got sources.

AND I CANT SEEM TO SEE ONE EITHERWAY...wether i download and try to open with vlc or i tried to watch "knowing" (streaming) last night and couldnt get one to play that way either

I always use a few P2P apps , if one does not have it another one will.
