You first need to get your diet in check. That I believe is the most important aspect. You can lift half-ass and eat right and still make gains.
Second of course is your training routine. You want to maximize your time in the gym.
Steroids aren't always the answer. A lot of people seem to think of them as a shortcut, and in some cases they may be, most of those stories end bad.
Bodybuilding is a lifestyle. It's a philosophy. So are Steroids. You can't continue to live an "average" lifestyle if you are even nearly considering going on gear.
