Theoretically it is possible, Einstein said that in 1935 there things called "worm holes" which linked other universes and other parallel universes together. Sort of a "short cut" to another places.

However, the problem is humanity may never become advanced enough to be able to trigger a worm hole and travel through it safely since Einstein said anything that travels through a wormhole (a person) dies because it is ripped up into atomical pieces.

Second problem with worm-holes is you don't know where you will end up, you might end up right next to a star or you might end up inside a planet or you might end up in another universe. You don't know where you are going to end up its like a portal that takes you somewhere, but you don't know.

A third problem is worm-holes are usually very microscopic

But as of right now, scientists know that gravity is not bounded by universe or parallel universes meaning that gravity can travel through these mediums. This is how scientists will try to prove the idea of parallel universes by having these particle accelerators smash tiny atoms together over and over again in order to have that one instance where a graviton (a particle that carries gravity) gets smashed into another dimension.
