cant believe they banned him...

he was great arounf hear, however he is still around, different board with the same user name...look hard and u will find him.

i dont understand how banning Jamy makes the board more safe.

All these helpful members getting banned lately... Seems like admin would b a little more leaniant on the members who contribute so much. It's hard not to get into an argument with someone when your tryin to help so much and the people won't listen. I don't know the full story tho so I can't really judge.

getting banned is VERY easy, this should be a warning to everyone.

Hell i got banned from another board and all I was doing was calling out a source (that I did n ot even name)for shipping me something in a very iresposible way. and then come to find out the place never shipped me any gear at all just a package with a fake customs letter shoved in the container with the other thing they shipped.
they didn't ban me for a while and give me another chance either they instantly banned me for life.

I know the customs letter was fake because I have seen a real one and if the way the source shipped is thier usual practices they are totally iresponsible and needed to be called out.they are going to get people caught up with thier ignorance and for the board to go along with it tells me they care nothing about the members whatsoever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JJ was a very very good guy and gave a lot to this board.

but like others have said if you have a question ask admin, I am sure he will respond to your question, I have asked him several over the year and none went unanswered

lets change these threads to let remember the man and what did for the board and not what did he do wrong.

FREAKIN TELL ME ABOUT IT....... It's hard not to fight with new guys anymore when you just want stats from someone to have all the facts so you can give a better answer.

Advice given here is based largely on experience and no two experiences are the same..... most of the older guys here are on the same page..... it just seems like some new guys really like busting balls..... ah well.... i try and be patient.....

Sorry to hear jammy is gone but im sure the reason for the ban qualifies.....

He was soliciting members from here via pm's which is in clear violation of the rules. Many staff members have been banned for doing the same. They knowingly broke the rules and were banned for it........period, the end.

I gotta disagree.

When I first joined this board they use to ban EVERYONE for the most mundane infractions. And for the last 6-12 months that changed (when we had the flaming threads and people outright telling each other to f off everyday. It was anarchy and chaos everywhere. (which NEVER use to be tolerated)

This board goes through phases, phase 1 I call the "lets set an example" phase and phase 2 "lets turn a blind eye" or "lazy" phase. It looks like were reverting back to phase 1 again.

And for the record I don't think its fair cause if you're going to have laws or guidelines you ENFORCE THEM ALL THE TIME, not for 1 year then take a year off. Cause members start to get comfortable, then phases change and people get banned which is completely effed up.

I should note however this has NOTHING to do with anyone whos been banned recently, I'm just noting the general banning trends I've seen on this board. Sometimes people just can't keep up with the trends.

Thats why flamming doesnt get you banned right away, we know its hard, but going against the board itself will not be tolerated.

This was a big scheem by Dedic8ted and Junturna for awhile now. We saw this coming a while ago, it happens every so often, theres only one way to deal with it.

Ill go as far and only so far to say that leadership changes happen, were trying to get things back to normal, so of course theres going to be some "cleaning up".

Very untrue... there was multi reasons he was banned but having his own board nope not one of them... and to be honest I really like the guy and got along with him very well... but I do enforce the rules 100% on this contrary to some beliefs...
