Vitamin waters are they good or bad for dieting????

I drink Glacieau Vitamin Water 1 a day around 3 times a week!

I was wandering if they good or bad for people who are trying to loose weight and build lean muscle?

I prefer them to fruit juice and full sugar/diet soft drinks?

What are your views on Vit Waters?

Are no added sugar soft drinks like coke zero and pepsi max better for dieting than diet soft drinks?

What are your views on Red Bull Sugar Free?

Occasionally Ill have either some Propel in the house or sprite zero. Both of them I guess are decent because they have next to nothing in them.

However if you want to keep it by the books, drink nothing but good old h2o..

As far as red bull, dont like the taste.....

Those Waters that have orange in them are very good. I realy dont understand how good and sweet they are because they got no calories and no artificial sweeteners in them. But tap water does the trick and its free

Short answer: they are bad for people trying to lose weight. All sports drinks are except for water.

If you neglect just one drink from your diet 1x per day for one year that is about 50,000 calories. thats like 14 pounds or something (not muscle)

I think I will reduce my vit water intake to once a week!

I like red bull's taste and it helps me concentrated, alert and wake when I work!

I prefer water and I do not drink things such as lucozade, gatorade or powerade!

I drink no added sugar soft drinks like once or twice a week but I am planning on cutting it down to once a week!

I know red bull contains a little taurine and caffeine. The thermogeninc effect of caffeine may help boost your metabolism and provide energy for a workout, thus effecting weight loss indirectly. However, there are numerous other chemical preservatives and ingredients which I doubt would really have any positive effects for your goals.

Personally I'd drop the sports drinks/soft drinks and utilize green tea or possibly an EC stack for what you're trying to achieve. Stick to H20, tap with a charcoal filter or something.

Does Green Tea REALLY help you loose weight?

I drink alot of caffeine anyway in coffee and tea but effedra is harmful because it cause jitters, increases bp and trembling, irregular heart beat and palpitations amongst other things - infact there was an episode of Ricky Lake on it called 'The Deadly Diet'!

I prefer Coleus Foskohlii, Guggul and and synephrine/yohimbine products!

I have heard that synephrine and yohimbine sides are over exagerated alot!

    Is this true?

    How bad are their sides?

    It contains artificial sweeteners!

I think they might be harmful!

I will stick to good old H20 from now on!

I read that it does not actually take sugar to create an insulin spike, only to trick the body by eating sweets (0 carbs or not). Also I am willing to bet that there is more to this artificial sweetener stuff than we know (or I know at least). I take the perspective of anything you put in your body gets used for something.

Almost lived a whole summer offa redbull. Sure lost a bit of weight but I really messed myself up. And you get it all back quick if you don't watch out.

Honestly think vitamin water is a bit of a gimmik. Good on 50 cent... Prolly makes a few buck off them

Him, Timberland and Mary J Blidge were all rumoured to have done AAS!

The media said they got their AAS from the same GP that the late Chris Bennoit got his from!
