What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started?

With all the knowledge youve gained since you started in the game what would you do differently if you had to start from scratch again?

    Mine would be -

    - Keep workouts to 50-60mins tops
    - Focus less on chest and bi's and more on back and legs!

Nutrition for sure. I spent my first year working out eating like a regular Joe.

Since I started at 37 with many years of experience (diet and workout), I believe I received all the necessary information needed to run a proper aas cycle, right here, right in this forum, in the last months.
A big thanks to those who answered my questions.

as for starting AAS? I just did 1 cycle so far and have done it exactly how I was supposed to, thanks to this forum.

as for when i started working out in general 5 1/2 years ago? everything because i started out training every single bodypart 7 days per week and didnt realize food had anything to do with results. oops

When I first started lifting almost 3 years ago my split was:

    Chest/Tris/Shoulders
    Back/Bis
    Legs
    Off
    REPEAT

I started taking creatine, and I did gain a lot of strength... for about 6 months. Then I stalled for a LONG time. I was also doing 5 sets of each exercise.

Then I figured all about overtraining. I wish I would have known when I started.

Also, I NEVER took protein. For some reason, I did not think that it was important. I ate only 3 times a day. Sometimes only twice.

Now for AAS. I just started my first cycle. What I wish I knew before I started? I wish I knew that I would need more 1" needles lol.

I am yet to experience roids but easily the most important thing I learned was measuring everything you eat and concentrating on intensity in gym rather than volume.

1.) Food. I thought I was eating too much when I first started working out, turns out I was eating less than 1/10 of what I eat now.
2.) Skipping out on legs for a whole year.
3.) How powerful/dangerous PHs are, learned the hard way- TRT @ 21 years old.
4.) Incline bench. Very critical in developing a well rounded chest. Skipped out on that for a year also.
5.) Something I cannot think of atm.

that people who tell you that steroids aren't bad are full of shit. That just because other people do it and recover doesn't mean that you can. How bad prohormones are. DIET. Overtraining.

I never had test to begin with so my experimentation with steroids literally saved my life. However in the beginning years I told so many people to take them and I sold them and said "yea phtren is great" and all this other shit. My life is so much better, but what about them?

There is a lot of evidence saying steroids are not as harmful as they should be, and there is some, but less saying the opposite. But anyone who has been around them for long enough knows how bad they really are. We do a bad job of making that clear to people on this board - I know its a steroid board. everyone should know though. But I love them and testosterone made me the person I am today.

How bad are they? Really? apart from possible ED, hair loss, gyno or testicular atrophy.

I'm curious, is there something wrong with squatting ass to the ground? That's how I squat, I go right down to the ground, then I wait a second or two before pushing up.

I'm not sure I understand you here. Sounds like you're saying that your body has never been able to produce Testosterone. Is that right? If so, then what was the cause, did your testicles never develop properly?

A clean diet is the most important part of cycling, my first cycle I gained tons of water weight and bloated up to a huge 267lbs.
