    Just got back from honeymoon!

Talking about taking a trip at the perfect time. Chicago got hit with some nasty weather while I was chillin in the carribean for 2 weeks.

We first started in Riviera Maya Mexico for the first 4 days of the trip. It was absolutely gorgeous. Weather was in the upper 80's and sunny. This was from Monday - Thursday

We left Friday afternoon and headed to Ft.Lauderdale Fla. We went to the beach and chilled out for the rest of the day. Las olas is super nice!

Saturday we headed to the marina where we got about the Princess Ship for our 7 day cruise. And let me tell you the boat was amazing. Just gigantic. Restaurants everywhere, pools everywhere, and KIDS everywhere. Not part of my gameplan here but oh well, lol.

Our first stop was supposed to be Grand Cayman. The weather was too bad to port so we just stayed at sea. This was a bummer because besides the fact that I have never been here, we had a lot planned for the day.

Next stop was Roatan Honduras. Nice small island. People were nice but again the weather was bad. We sat under this outdoor bar and ate and drank until we had to get back on the ship.

Next stop was Cozumel, Mexico. This was the best part of the cruise. The weather was a sunny 84 deg. We rented a jeep and drove around the island stopping periodically to do some snorkeling. This was awesome. finished up with a little shopping, had lunch and headed back to the ship.

Last stop was Princess Cays which is a private island in the Bahamas. Again, another rainy stop. I was fed up at this point. But we made the best of it. Walking on the beach in our swim suits in the rain, lol...

We returned back to Ft. Laurderdale and went back to Las Olas and did some shopping. Walked around, had lunch then head back to the hotel where we were talking to the bellman who said that ALL of the flights to Chicago were cancelled due to bad weather ( this is now Saturday ). Fortunately, our flight Sunday morning was fine.

Got back home yesterday morning to see all this snow. And yesterday in Fla it was 75.....

Anyways, it was nice to get away, finally. Now I have some major work to do in the gym. I literally broke all the rules but I did workout a few days here and there. Nothing to brag about though...

    Good to be back home.......

Sucks about the bad weather. I had a port cancelled a few years ago due to bad weather. I of was actually Cozumel and they brought us to costa maya instead. I leave in two days to head to Miami for my cruise. If you want a cruise without all the kids go on carnival. There are some kids but not very many at all. I'm going to Cozumel for the 5th time. Place is awesome but I think were taking the ferry over to cancuun this time cuz were in port for 14 hours. Only port I've never liked is Jamaica. It's a shit hole with a few hidden beauties that aren't really worth getting off the ship for.
