Taking into account that the world revolves around the sun, and the earth is moving closer to the sun, 30,000 km might as well be in your back yard.

How can you take all these variables into account and make a logical prediction?

Not to mention that when asteroids go skipping along, other planets, suns, etc, have an gravitational effect on the asteroid itself.
