because, for what it would cost to get any improvement out of the k20a3, i got a k20z1 motor - 80hp more, 6spd tranny, off an extremely low KM type-s, for around the same price.
the car in japan came with the better motor, when they brought it here - they ripped us off :P

k20a3+peakboost turbo setup at 10lbs of boost=about 240whp...
k20z1+peakboost turbo setup at 10lbs of boost=about 320whp
the motor responds far better to boost and airflow.....
higher redline.
k20a3 - 6800rpm
k20z1 - 8600rpm
on another note
the honda fit has a fire hazard recall.
window control mech on the drivers side if it gets wet, can short and start a fire..... honda fit's suck anyway.
