Man I travel a lot, mostly around Japan for work....and some of the gyms are well.....strange to say the least.

    Baseball cap, peak down.
    Headphones, loud.

and I am in the zone.

Oh yeah, writing in my journal between sets helps heaps.

    1. a gym that has dumbells that go up to atleast 70kgs, (looking for one that goes up to 90kg now, god dam steroids lol)

    2. machines that can stack ALOT of weight onto, if the cable row doesnt have 170kg stack then i wont go der,

    3. descent people, with no blokes that are little try hards and heros

    4. SPACE, hate going to a gym where you can move, need space between bench presses and squat racks

    5. LOTS of mirrors, i hate gyms with no mirrors, yes it is to chek urself out(occasionaly dont look for pimples on your biceps, coz your not looking at that), but coz when you do exercises you can see that your doing them correctly

    6. has a few descent looking women in there (not to many alwise ill end up pulling my dik in the gym, or trying to talk to them, or worse theyll hog a machine), these women are motivating alot of times

Quality and amount(and variation) of weights and benches. And obviously hours of operation if 24hr access isn't available. Forget the women, that's why we have strip clubs.

I've been lifting at LA Fitness for 8 years and don't have more than the occasional problem. Very rare. I like that they are really corporate and pay the employees garbage. The lack of pay leads to low morale thus the employees don't give a fk if I get some chalk on the floor or make some noise.

I workout at Lifetime Fitness and even though it is a little pricey, it is never too crowded due to sheer size of the gym and there is every bit of equipment available and then some.

Jayus you'd be lucky to get 70kg dumbbells in ireland I only know of one gym that has them in the whole of ireland and it has all ove the above.

You'd go cracked if you where looking for gyms in ireland man. There all shit. It took me ages to find a decent one cos I had to move from my old gym with the 70kg dumbbells and a million squat and bench racks to a heap of shit incomparison.

    yah mon, it sucks
god help me, I wanted to use the flat bench today...every planet fitness member thinks that's the one weight lifting exercise worth doing...so I had to wait like 20 min since there are only two of them.
