For supps, I like Glucosamine/Chondroitin MSM, its a liquid and I mix in it with my water or iced tea. 2 tbls a day keeps your joints lubed. (Takes a couple weeks to set in) For pain, there's all kinds of otc NSAID's. Good luck!

Fish oil for lubrication, Glucosamine/ Chondroitin for cartilige health. I've read that just staying hydrated properly is enough to keep your joints lubricated. Not sure about athletes needs though.

I take 3-6g/day but I know some guys take way more, like 15-20g/day. Never tried that much myself.

Thats alot of fish oil... Do you think I could breathe under water if I did that much?

Seriously though, I was taking fish oil for 1 yr straight and one day i stopped taking it. 1 week later my joints were killing me. I started taking it again and never had a problem since
