In terms of diet, here is a sample of what I ate yesterday:
meal 1: 1 cup oats, 1 scoop whey, 1 tbsp pb, 4oz banana
meal 2: 2 cups vector cereal, 1/2 cup oats, broccoli
meal 3: (PWO) 1.5 scoops whey, 3 grams creatine
meal 4: 6oz red meat, 1/2 cup oats, 2 fish oils
meal 5: whole wheat wrap with brown rice, 4oz grilled chicken, lettuce
meal 6: vector protein bar, multivitamin (out at a friends house)
meal 7: 12-grain whole wheat bagel with 1/2 cup tuna
In terms of lifting, for a rough idea, I recently adopted the 5x5 workout program consisting of main exercises:
5x5 75lb dumb bells on flat bench + 2 other chest exercises of 2x8-10reps
5x5 skull crushers with 75lb dumbell + 2 other tri exercises of 2x8 reps
5x5 deadlifts with 65lbs on each side of barbell + 2 other back exercises 2x8-10 reps
5x5 70lb preacher curls + 2 other bi exercises 2x8 reps
I also workout shoulders/traps, quads, calves, but not on the 5x5 workout. That's just a rough idea. I hit the gym about 3-5 days a week and always add at least 15 mins cardio to the end of my workout...usually HITT on elliptical. I'm a full-time university student by the way so sometimes time gets tight for me, but I always make it out to the gym.
I really appreciate the constructive criticism, thanks to both users who posted above. I'm thinking of steering away from AAS now, its just weird that friends who were once around the exact same size as me are doing so well on them. Maybe you guys can just give me feedback on my workout/diet if you don't think I should get started with AAS.
