did pit security for their gig in dublin last year, im afraid theyve kinda lost it, Lars drumming was just a big incoherent tangle of noise (he's no Dave Lombardo) during a few tracks. they did open with an amazing Blackened though

around 50yards or so. have seen them numerous times myself right back from the mid 80's to present, theyve just lost tht live raw edge tht bands like slayer, lamb of god etc possess, its all just too sterile and clean if you get me

Never was that big of a funk/protest music kinda guy. I was always into that cool R&B vibe. Lots of laid back music.

I can appreciate Jeff Beck, but, IMO, that's more blues/funk to me. I dig blues but I stick to more of the Bobby Bland style of blues.

My taste runs along the classics like the OJays, Delphonics,Marvin Gaye. More recent artists include John Legend, Robin Thicke, D'wele, Sade, Christopher Williams, Anthony Hamilton (my favorite new artist).

check out exodus recent albums, tempo of the damned and shovel headed kill machine both excellent, stomping version of dirty deeds done dirt cheap on tempo!

In all honesty for me it would have to be Gold Dust Woman. I love Stevie Nicks. Her music is enchanting.
