Mom made sure my siblings and I had swim lessons since the age of 5. Ironic.
I think it's just people who are extreme procrastinators that don't learn how to swim or peole who are affraid of the water.
My mom was terrified of water until about two years ago when she started taking a water-aerobics. Now she's in the water and no problem. She quit that and moved on to "Curves" a circuit training facility. No
All they have there are machines and spots to run in place or touch your toes. You can not adjust the weight up or down. Every two to three minutes a loud speaker says "Change stations," and every one moves up one station. I've tried to get her to to EP Fitness with me, but she doesn't like it because she says it's smells like sweat. Of course it does. That's what happens when you really work out. [/thread jack]

Ive swum since I was 1 YO. Im 30 now and Ive done it several times a week since then and can pretty much swim as long as I want without getting bored. Last year I swam 8.8km for charity. I love it.

Its pretty cool !!!!!!! Especially when they are wild in the ocean
I think i could swim before i could walk.

On the Dolphin thing, i remember one time when it was raining quite heavy and i was the only one out surfing, all of a sudden there was a pod of dolphins with me, we surfed waves together for about half an hour, one of the most special memories i have

S**T got me this time,,,,,,,,,,,, yet another old old thread......

Well...you replied! I think the moderators need to archive some stuff off if they dont want people replying to it. Im just trying to get some advice, so far just getting crucified for stiring up old threads.

Well instead of digging up old swimming threads that don't seem to answer what your looking for(here and the anabolics page ant the workout page and the pro page), why don't you start a thread in the right section and ask exactly what it is you want to know, that way someone that maybe knows might be able to help you

Look mate, Ive been criticised enough thanks! Im Fu&*ing dyslexic but yes, I can read. I came on here for some support and advice about something Im interested in. I dont need personal attacks all bloody day. I posted a new article, no one responded, I reply to an old one, everyone replies with snyde comments. Maybe your time would be better spent helping people who come on here for support than having a go at people who reply to message which are not locked, archived or closed.
