hit the diet section and read up. You could gain alot naturally if you swithced that up. I'm honestly suprised yuor 175 with that diet.

Your trainer had no clue whats correct for you. Is he really short? it seems like he gave you a cutting diet for someone much smaller

Its always quite hard correcting a mod, i hope you take this the right way:

    2.5oz pasta is around 1cup, 40g carbs.
5oz chicken breast is around 60g protein

400cals for each of those meals.

    the 2 shakes, 1350 each, 2700

The beef will be around 300-400cals depending how lean it actually is.

so yeah, infact, 2700 + 1200 + 300, with conservative estimates that diet is around 4200 calories. I dont think ronnie could cut on 4200 cals!

absolutely AMPLE for someone 6'1 and 175, the macronutrient ratio is quite good, as is the timing. If you are *honestly* eating this (which i don't think you are, day in, day out) then you will gain. There is no 2 ways about it.

Secondly.. in this case, his 'shakes' are as close to real food as you are going to come. What difference does it make having your oats + yogurt + glass of milk + whey blended together, as opposed to eating it seperately as a meal? Especially when he has 4 other whole food meals in there.

I know what someone who is 175 6'1 looks like, and as everyone has said it is farrr to small to start steroids. Take the pros advice, put it on the shelf for a year, atleast, and then re-evaluate. What have you got to lose? a year is nothing in the scheme of things..

Edit: as was mentioned aswell, you would really do well to add some vegies into that diet, chuck some broccoli / mixed vegez into your pasta/chicken meals.. hell, might spice them up a bit!
