From what I know, I'd have to say no. There's no need to stop the T and no reason it would make you "fat". That said, it *will* make you gain weight, however in the form of more muscle.
You didn't mention your T numbers but you'll want to keep them in check with blood tests, because as your T comes up, at a certain point, without an estrogen blocker, i.e Anti Aromatase or AI your body will begin to convert the excess T in to E and "that" will make you gain fat, and especially water, which will make you even more "puffy". At 100mg weekly you're obviously at less risk of this than at 200 however, everyone is different which is why monitoring your numbers is so important. Next time you test your T levels, also have your doctor check your Estradiol numbers too; that will tell you when and if you need an AI.
On top of that, [and this is where some of you other more informed guys might want to chime in], depending on the cause of your pain, it's possible the T may even help in the healing process. It sounds like the first thing you need to do though, is talk to your doctor and determine the cause of your pain.
