    Meal Replacement Bar Recommendations

Sometimes I get put in a jam at work and have to turn to a meal replacement bar for a meal. Any recommendations of a few that aren't actually bad for you?

Well foods ideal, but if your in a jam pure protein is a good bar..they sell them at all 7-11's..like 8g fat 4sugars,32 protein,26 carbs..that's the chocolate supreme flavor..so they not to bad, except for little fat..I keep a box in my truck if I'm in a emergency I'll have one..that's not that often though..

I would make my own. Check the recipes 'sub' thread here in the diet section. You will definitely find recipes for homemade protein bars - usually consisting of oats, PB, whey, splenda, etc - lots of different options.

You're better just to bring some whey and store it in your car/desk and make a quick shake.

Or as Gbrice said, make your own. None are up to good, clean BB diet standards. Even Cliff builders are geared for endurance recovery and have a lot of sugar, despite being clean.

I like the costco "premier nutrition" protein bars when I'm in a pinch. They come in a box of 30, they are cheap, and they last forever. 270 cal, 6g fat, 26gm carb, 30 gm protein.
