Thread: Should I sign for a package in the mail?

Should I sign for a package in the mail?

    Hey guys,
I'm thinking about ordering from a reliable source and it's my first time. In the terms of shipping it says that it's priority air mail bc it's the quickest way. However, this requires a signature at the time of arrival. Is this asking for trouble? Should I send it to a friend or someone else and have them sign off for it?

Sure sign for it.. but DO NOT open it right away. Always leave yourself some deniability if needed.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm probably going to have it sent to a family member and have them hold it for me. That way it stays closed til I can go get it. Thanks for the reply

it doesnt matter when you open it....if you sign for it and close the door...thats a crime.. most of the time it will get seized...i keep my orders...threw the mail in small amounts....when mine comes it is packed very well....i dont want to say how...just in case some unwanteds are reading...but if it comes to your house and it isnt delivered by a fed... open it....waiting will just delay your cycle time

I ordered a cycle and had it delivered. I never had an issue with the police, but my name was put on the OFAC list. I won't have anything else mailed to me. I found a reliable UGL.

Once it makes it past customs and to your local post office/mail carrier you're gtg. If you get a letter from US Customs office saying they have a package of yours and you can come pick it up, then I'd probably let them keep it and do yourself a favor and not show up at the customs office.

I've been looking at ordering oline for delivery to the UK. Was hoping to get it OTC whilst working out here in Pakistan but not having any luck.

I'm just unsure about paying my hard earned money to online stores who never seem to answer e mails. Also a bit concerned about delivery as I work away and certtainly do not want the missis taking delivery or worse...finding out!

The good thing about express mail (quicker the better) is they have to move it so quickly they have much less time to scrutinize it.

I have literally have a package shipped from china to eastern usa in 1-2 days (think it was one but didn't check)

My two cents... Don't have it delivered in your own name. If possible have it sent to "Current Resident" "Head of Household". if you live in a house, add something funny like an "APT #2" to it.

Try to know what service is going to make the delivery. When the delivery man comes to the door. Take a LONG, HARD look at him. He should have a COMPLETE uniform, from head to toe. These companies have a strict uniform policy! if dude don't have brown socks on that day and you get a funny feeling I would think twice.

Second look for his truck, we all know what ups and fedex trucks look like. If you don't see one ask where it is. I don't know of on police department in a three state area around me that has a truck that would pass as a delivery truck, same colors, stickers, model and so on. (i have a REALLY good idea about this)

Next look surprised when they get to the door and tell you have a package. Say something like "Really? I Wonder what it is?" "No way!? Who's it from?" "What if its not for me?"

Sigh for it only if you have to. He should have an electronic signing board, NOT a clip board and paper with a pen. (if you sign for it, this is where you most likely will find out if you are on the receiving end of a bust, guys with little shinny stars on them will come running at your front door.)

After the guy leaves. Put the package inside and leave the house. If you want set the package down inside the door and follow the guy right out the house. Drive around the block see if the guy makes another stop. These guys make stops on almost every street these days.

If you have not gotten stopped by a bunch of juiced up or over weight guys with guns looking tough then you are most likely safe.

The type of operation that they would be doing is called a "controlled delivery". They are not likely to let the package leave their sight for very long, they need to maintain control over it.

The RTS or Return to sender, thing was a good idea, I like that one. Even after you open the box that could come in handy.

Most of the time if you are ordering just supplies for yourself and enough for a single cycle then the feds will not be too interested in you and your box of goodies. They WILL however send your information on to LOCAL law enforcement and advise them of what they know about you and your package. If for WHATEVER reason the Feds do want your little balls you can forget just about EVERYTHING i just said. The feds will let you have your come at you from every angle you cant even think of, they will have a paper trail longer then you thought even existed for your order. They may even have the photo/video of you getting the money order at the local store you get it from. (don't be dumb enough to use your own credit card)

OR you could always do what most people do and just order the stuff, cross your fingers and enjoy.

haha The mental imagery of opening a box, where a spring loaded hand pops out and cuffs you is stuck in my head now.. Of course sirens and emergency lighting would take effect simultaneously..

As long as you're only ordering a tiny amount, or the authorities already have good reason to be watching you, you should be fine.....

  26. #26
That has put my mind at ease a little as I'll only be ordering one cycle. I've already got my PCT covered.

Now just got to trawl through all the bullshit websites in an attempt to determine a genuine supplier.

In a follow-up to what supe3 said, what I have done in the past is 'moved in' a guest into my residence. I did this by putting his name on my mailbox, filling out request forms for colleges, etc, etc, sending a few happy birthday type letters to him. I made it look like he was a homeless guy by the way I wrote the letters to him and I saved them.

This way he was a high school friend down on his luck homeless and I was trying to help him get a job and get his life together. Also, the postman would get used to seeing 2-3 letters addressed to him for like 3 months before a 'package' arrived for him. (and when it arrived I certainly wouldn't open it. I even had a gym bag with some old clothes in there and a couple of books and tooth brush, etc that were 'his'.

I just received a package yesterday from overseas and I saw that the package itself was tampered with and it looked like someone spilled a bunch of grease on the package itself. If u were to peek inside, you could obviously see a vial. The package itself was so damaged that the mailman couldn't scan the barcode nor could he see where it came from, so he just told me to toss the slip that i was suppose to sign. I opened the package and found a vial had broke and the gear got all over the inside of the package and it was unusable (didn't bother me since that particular vial was dirt cheap and it was extra incase i wanted to shoot over a gram of test per week). My point being is that some post offices don't really give a crap while other's are very strict w/what comes through.

i didn't realize that the authorities would put so much time, effort and money into busting someone for this stuff that would warrant all of these steps. i would have figured they would have a lot more important things to put their resources into...

They do have many more things that could be done, but, Steroids, and drug busts make news, its what dept chiefs and sheriffs do to make a name for them and their dept. I would say 99.9 percent of the time a package makes it to your home for delivery it is safe. some people just worry about it. remember too thought that "time, effort and money" is not a factor law enforcement has to take into account when deciding who to go after all the time. If a crime is brought to their attention they have an obligation to follow up with the information they have. All the advice I gave was just things to make yourself feel better and be alittle more safe.

Isn't gear for personal use (like smallish amm'ts) legal to bring into the UK by boat, plane, whatever? Thought I read that somewhere as well as it generally being legal for personal use. You blokes have it good over there.

I had a similar type account. Someone sent me some powder that has an EXTREMELY STRONG odor. It was in a plastic baggie in a letter but during the process of it coming through the postal service in the UK to the USA somehow the baggie busted open in one corner. I opened my mailbox and it friggin wreaked. Powder was all over the bottom of the mailbox. It must have been all over the bottom of the letter carriers bag too. No idea at what point it broke open but there was NO WAY of not noticing a terribly foul odor coming from that envelope.

I told the guy who mailed it to me and he started double bagging, which solved the problem, but I was surprised that that letter goth through with that powder in there stinking to high hell.

Been getting gear sent to my house for yrs from overseas. I use to make up names but I've gotten lazy and just use my own. I use to be nervous especially when I missed the delivery and had to pick it up at the post office. Fortunately my source is very creative in shipping and haven't had any issues.

  36. #36
If it makes it to your house, just accept it and open it. That means it's already cleared customs. If your package doesn't clear customs you'll get a letter in the mail from the US customs. Just don't answer it. I've already had 3 letters from customs. I'm still not in jail. This is the game you play when you're using AAS. I wouldn't have it sent to the office or your family member. You'd feel better if your family member ended up in jail because of you? Just get a mailbox from a UPS store and it comes with a regular address not a PO box.

Sensible advice, luckily for us residents in the uk worrying about this problem is not an issue. I believe until 2004 or 2005 it was also legal in the states, to buy and use AAS for personal use. (Until it was outlawed)
Like scotch man says 9 times out of ten UPS or FEDEX ( I have lived in the U.S) wont even deliver the stuff and will send you a seizure notice something like a pink sheet that says they have your parcel and to come and collect at the depot.
I would be particularly wary however if you were to make a large order. For example several hundred dollars worth maybe even several thousand dollars worth of merchandise. That way the authorities are more likely to allow you to recieve it but at the same time keep a watch over you and your address for any signs you maybe distributing steroids..(and any other substance for that matter) so think on.
I would advise, order in an alias name if possible to a different address making smaller orders. I guess in an ideal world this sounds easy but many will throw caution into the wind and order when and what they please.
