Hey guys! So I'm new here, been lurking in the shadows the past few weeks, what a fantastic informative site on a taboo subject where alot of bull shit information floats around on the internet, gotta say I love the info on this site!
This is going to be a bit of a longer post, and I'm sorry to bore alot of you guys but I'm seriously looking for an online mentor to varify I'm going in the right direction here.
Sooo... Bit about me
I've weight trained most of my adult life, however the last 3-4 years I halfassedly hit the gym, over the last year I've taken it very seriously again and muscle memory worked in my favour lol, however I'm looking to take it up a notch and try gear for the first time to see if the risk vs. reward is worth it for me.
I'm currently about halfway through building my first cycle, I have been doing copious amounts of research, and am hopefully looking for critique and helpful advice from people with experience since I am a MEGA rookie in the gear world.
My basic stats
Age: 25
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 263lbs (estimated body fat 27-30%)
I'm prone to gyno naturally, nothing too severe and the bitch tits all but almost dissappear when I have my body fat down into the teens. I'm also hitting that magical age in life where my hairline is JUST starting to recede a tiny bit *shakes fist at genes*
Sooo... I've acquired a legitimate source that I trust, and I'm seriously considering doing my first cycle in about mid october. So I'll break down the cycle I'm considering, and then go into training and diet.
Cycle:
Test E for 12 weeks at 500mg a week (IM)
Dbol for first 6 weeks at 25mg a day. (oral)
I have yet to read into those liver pills, its on my to do list before I cycle and I will probably pick those up as well.
I'm still continuing to do more research on nolvadex, and currently am wanting to use nolvadex throughout my entire cycle to mitigate gyno as much as possible, and am prepared for it to hinder my gains potentially, however I want to minimize gyno as MUCH as possible. I havent decided on when to begin it, how long to take it, and how best to utilize it in my PCT. So more work / research in that area to go!!
In regards to estrogen sides during cycle, from everything I've read nolvadex seems to be the best damage control for my situation.
Also, I have acquired a 4 months prescription of finasteride (propecia) from my doctor that I never ended up taking, and will probably take it during my cycle as yet another safety net for my first cycle.
I'm veeeeeery nervous about sides, and plan to be as dilligent as possible in their management.
Training: Arnold's beginner routine from his encyclopidea. I do 4 on 4 off shift work so I've modified the 7 day workout into an 8 day one.
Chest / back day 1
Shoulders / arms day 2
legs day 3
day 4 rest
I'm also doing 15 minutes of cardio before and after my workouts whenever I can, I know alot of people say Arnie's workouts lead to overtraining, but my body has been responding fantastic to his split, and I find to get my muscles to grow 3-4 sets for a muscle group just doesn't cut it.
Diet:
For nutrition, I am taking in about 300 g of protein a day, eating 90% clean, trying to take in lotsa veggies, no sodium, lots of the bodybuilding staple foods. Drinking lots of water, all in all I'm not calorie counting because I know from past experiences it leads me to failure. I'm honestly just listening to my body, and whenever I am hungry trying to take in a full balanced meal with the majority of my food intake being protein. Its been working so far, and I'm a big boy with a big frame naturally, so i'm always hungry lol.
Supplements:
Casein protein in AM and right before bed
Superpump250 2 scoops, with 1 scoop of cellmass creatine for preworkout drink
Whey isolate for post workout drink
Animal pak multivitamin
Vitamin C
Omega 3 6 and 9
Soooooooo.... There we go, I tried to supply as MUCH information as possible, and trying to not be toooo long winded so people actually read it.
I'm really feeling a whole lot of different emotions regarding my first cycle, I'm nervous, excited, stressed. I can't wait to see what it feels like, and if it really makes me just feel like an asbolute animal in the gym. I'm also pretty nervous about the side effects, and getting really really bad acne. I have a pretty good muscle frame already, and I am a little hestitant about exploding cause I don't want people at work to be like WTF how did you get huge in 3 months. Then again from the sounds of it, cycles don't make you explode they just expidiate the process :P
Sooo... To anyone who read all of this, congradulations for sifting through my incoherent long winded ramblings!!
Please let me know if I'm going in the right direction here, if it sounds like I am doing them for the right reasons, and if I'm prepared mentally and physically for a cycle like this! I think I'm ready, but the last thing I want to do is **** something up, Guess I'm looking for reassurance, and to make sure I'm not missing anything huge so far.
