    Zoloft experiences?

I am thinking about going back on it to help me thru this divorce process. I was actually back on it when my wife and I got back together the first time, and it seems that it really helped my confidence/self esteem...which right now is in the shitter.

Anyone else have any experience with it?

I know many people who have taken this drug, Imo if you can battle on and stay off of a ssri/snri you should. My friends experience quite a bit of fatigue whilst taking this, also another problem is that it can affect the depth of the sleep you have.

Trust me bro, it was tough for me to make this decision. What started off as me "taking the higher road" and letting my wife act psychotic, actually caused me to have a nervous breakdown, and I'm the one who acts kinda psycho to her. This whole ordeal has really taken a toll on me, and I feel I need some help to regain myself so to speak.

Have you seen a doctor about this? If you have to jump back on the meds mate, do what you got to do. Im currently taking Venlafaxine, i did plan to come off completely but the way i felt when i dropped down to 37.5mg, i probably wasn't safe to be around people

Make sure you see a professional, e.g. a psychiatrist or psychologist. Over here in the uk too many people who are experiencing psychological or psychiatric problems are treated by a regular doctor who knows a little about every subject, but is not a specialist in that specific area.

I have been on it twice before, and it really didn't have that affect on me. I was just more laid back, had a little more confidence, which is key for me right now.

Well I call the therapist tomorrow, once she talks to me she will probably prescribe me what she feels best suited.

If you have taken it before and your state of mind improved, with not to many negative side effects i would ask for the same one again....

Took zoloft for 3 years to help me cope with wifey. Then i went off for a year ,only to go back on a different ssri ,
when she put me in the hospital for a nervous breakdown. Its cheaper to keep her though lol
Dont sweat the ssri meds to much though ,aren't there far more poisonus substances that some of us put in our bodies.such as alcohol ,painkillers ,weed, aas?
I they are not helping ,slowly come down off them, wait 6 months Reasess

Most anti d will nuke your libido, as it has done to me presently, but i'm wearing myself off slowly atm, i am currently on amitriptyline 10mg.

Mine were prescribed to me for lack of sleep, and yes it worked well there.

But i believe the side effects, really out weigh the benefits.

Zoloft worked really well for me. It made me feel like a Zombie for the first few weeks of treatment. However, after the initial "getting used to it" I was a ball of energy. At the moment, I'm tapering off the medicine and doing well so far. Perhaps in a few weeks, I'll be singin' a different song.

The Zoloft has worked great for me. It makes it hard for me to cum, in which I was always great with stamina. I ran out a few weeks ago, and now my dick feels like it would be too sensitive, so back on it I go

All seriousness, I am much more laid back on it...but when this thread was made I was having a really hard time.

Zoloft seems to help my temper, which is a big plus.
