Kaiser will allow pinning test at home

Just as an FYI, I just got my first 10ml vial of cyp and a bag of 25g needles from kaiser today. Now I'm off to talk to a nurse on the "proper" way to pin....

I could probably YouTube it, but what the 'ell........

and btw... the cyp is a refillable Rx

(I probably should have put this in another forum)

The info from the nurse will probably be helpful. I noticed that pinning is more fear than pain. Turns out there is no pain for me if I just jab quickly. I tried pushing slowly once because someone said it doesn't hurt either...not true for me!

I think he knows how to pin.... it's probably just a requirement as part of his goodie bag he received.

Ahhhh. I thought the same thing to until he said he could probably YouTube it...I dunno. Regardless, it is awesome to get your cyp from a pharmacy. I don't want to do it any other way.

Actually, I've never "self pinned" until today. I have a "no pinning" rule in my house. But now that I'm leaving the country, and no kids to find my injectibles, then I can do as I please. But yes, the goodie bag makes it nice. And I was quite surprised to find that the injection in my leg was 100% painless.

So I just harpooned the needle in my leg until it bounced off bone, backed off a bit, then quickly squirted everything as fast as I could. Is that about right? (j/k)

and btw... I swapped out the 25g needles for 22g and a bunch of 18g to draw on.
