Thread: How much is in the tip of the needle???

  1. #1

Exclamation How much is in the tip of the needle???

I calculate how much test I have and how much I'm taking a week and how long it should last but it always seems to run out too quickly, and I'm thinking it's because the measurement doesn't include the amount in the tip of the needle.

Does anyone know how much is actually stored in the tip of the needle? Do you guys all incorporate that and I'm a noob for not figuring it out sooner?

Give yourself a little bit a air in the syringe, angle the shots so that the air pushes everything out.

Unless the syringe is perfectly vertical, you are gonna push the air out before the last bit of liquid is pushed out anyway...

Just figure 0.1 ml. It's really not enough to measure.

Many guys use this method, try it....and no need for perfectly vertical, maybe a 20 degree swing on it

On the average, .1ml in the needle. 0ml if you use a air chaser.
A tiny bit of air won't hurt a thing.
