Well the turmoil is in full swing and the looters have begun their looting in Egypt. There goes king tuts exhibit and all the pharohs and antiquities in the museums. It's a shame that they are losing all these priceless artifacts. Massive looting and destruction. So they are dissatisfied with their leaders so they destroy their country's history and burn each others homes and vehicles.

So you are saying that Egyptian people are looting the antiquities to make some money, where the country lives in tourism, and the aftermath will be no tourism anymore? so what they will do? so regarding what the koran teaches they will blame some other's religions or nonreligious....

Good questions and they will probably blame the us for interfering. Mean old western society anyhow. who needs freedoms when we can wear a burkka and bow to sharia law and be told what to think and when to think it.

YOUNG Egyptians formed a human chain to protect a museum of priceless antiquities as Neighborhood Watch committees were organised to fend off looters.

Dozens of people on Saturday surrounded the Egyptian Museum in Cairo - which is home to the death mask of King Tutankhamun - where army tanks had been stationed, as anti-government protests swept the country for the fifth day running.

Egypt's opposition party, the Muslim Brotherhood, which has thrown its weight behind the protests, said it had recruited members to form Neighborhood Watch committees around Cairo to protect public and private establishments. "We have selected members to form [the] committees, and they will be stationed around the capital trying to protect property," Salah Abdelraouf said.

Anti-regime protests gave way to looting in parts of the country, as the army stepped in to try and restore peace.

Residents of the poor al Sabtia neighbourhood, brandishing knives and home-made weapons, poured onto the streets to chase away looters who had ransacked a large mall and threatened to storm a commercial luxury tower. The residents took stolen goods back from the looters and put them in a local mosque until they can be handed to authorities once order is restored, witnesses said.

How did this become an opportunity to bash Islam? People are opportunists. We are like that all over the world, regardless of the dominant religion of the region. Whenever there is extreme civil unrest and people take to the streets, people loot and burn. It happened here but no one blamed christianity.
