Thread: deleted my recycling bin.. how do i get it back???

    deleted my recycling bin.. how do i get it back???

    title says it all.. accidentally deleted the shortcut on my desktop and now i can not find it anywhere on my comp.. did this two days ago.. how the hell do i get it back on my desktop?? i keep deleting stuff on my comp but have no way to get to the recycling bin to empty it? any help is much appreciated.

    Run a search on your computer for recycling bin and see if there's a file for it somewhere else.

    You can also go to windows and download the file for it I'm sure.

    lol is that possible.....

    I had a mate that said he dragged everything and dropped it in the recycling bin and lost everything but when i try ed windows didn't let me...

    Didn't work.. but when i did that it had the drop down list for the desktop to the left and i found it there.. dragged and dropped..

    BACK IN BUSINESS!!!

    now to empty my recycling bin of all those embarrasing pics of Zyzz

    Are you a spy Slimmer?? how did you know that?? jk.. no but seriously, i used have him as my desktop background but that didn't suffice so i had the local print shop make a life size cardboard cut out of hit... got it sitting in the corner of my room.. he looks after me as i sleep

    Start>All Programs> Accessories>System Tools> System Restore (assuming you have Windows XP).

    Restore your computer back a few days before you deleted it.

    I find this very, very funny. I had no idea you could delete a recycling bin. How did you even do that? Although, technically I think you just deleted the shortcut so you should be fine.
