No I've never asked a girl out . I have never gotten to know any girls and I think it's too awkward to just go up to someone whose name is all I know about them and ask them if they want to go out. I don't even know where to bring them

this is probably true I am only making assumptions about kids my age I dropped out of highschool at 16 and got my ged so my social contact has been limited. It's either a) coworkers or b) people on the internet/gym people and I have only been able to add them to my list this month cause before that I've been working out at home

And if she has plans or whatnot, then you merely say, " oh...thats too bad because it could have been fun." And keep cool and confident and trust in one thing: NEXT!
Remember: at 18 you are shopping. As long as you do not abuse or use someone with bad intentions, then you have every single right to sort it all out. As does she. You will find what you like in a girl, just like she will find what she likes in a guy. This is the R&D stage.

ok well I will go ahead and ask her out as long as I'm able to get my sportbike running tomorrow. If I can't, then there's no feasible way for me to take a girl out because I would not have any transportation.

I completely disagree on this but will not confuse him with a debate here. I've had plenty of girls that have approached me and then slept with me without ever know eachothers name. I'm sure dukkit, cal, and a few others have had there fair share of these aswell. Not sure of your age and would never ask but girls now are not like they used to be. I don't think there was a single virgin girl in my highschool graduation unless she was huge or butt ugly. you would think so but it's not like that. Last time I've seen any girls from highschool was when I was in highschool 2 years ago(completely srs). I just started working last month and there's only 3 girls my age that are my co-workers. My neighbor is my only contact in my phone besides my mom/dad/work. I spent most of my time after dropping out playing video games and not going outside. Luckily weights kind of saved me (started training in july). I sold my xbox so that I could focus only on working out and I recently got a job so that I could buy myself proper food and gear.

Faking what? That they cared? Sex is a very big part of life and it I believe it's more open and excepted (talking premarital) than what it used to be. In highschool I was with just one girl. I stayed with that one girl til I was 20. That's when I started my wild times I guess you'd call it. I graduated from a small school. 55 people in my senior class. One of our teachers even slept with a couple students. I'm not saying all of what you said was wrong, just saying that young women are not very lady like anymore and will have sex just for the fun of it. There's actually a sociological study that was done on this not too long ago. It showed college students both men and womens views on random sex and they were surprisingly similar.

PS to Stack: virgins in high school are a rare breed and nothing new.....this is not the issue. I am talking about a kid who is 18 and wants to have sex but does not want to actually know the girl and I did not want to lead him to girls thinking the girls felt the same way. Think about it. I am talking most girls. All girls talk about behind your back is "does he like me?" not...."I want to get laid..." 90% of girls want to know the guy first. Naturally there is always the girl who makes it easy. This is another thing all together. I stand by the fact that this contrast is what confuses the mating game from the get-go. You want sex. WE WANT TO KNOW YOU FIRST. And a lot of that knowing has to be earned with the little things in life like.....

I brought up the highschool thing to relate to his age. Yes many girls want to get to know us I agree to that. My point was that if he doesn't want that type of girl then the easy ones are out there. I doubt anyone who has never gone through the dating scene could pick them up easily tho so your route would be the best for this guy. I do believe this is a subject we always have and will have to continue to agree to disagree on. It's really got a lot of variables.
