I've never taken it, but from what I understand it isn't very effective. Taking DHEA orally doesn't elevate DHEA levels in the body.

This is not quite right. DHEA doesn't have problems absorbing into the body. It raises androstenedione levels (a precursor to test). However, this doesn't actual result in increased test levels.
