Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Oral steroids are usually more toxic than injectable because orals go through a 2 pass (Liver and your stomach) metabolism process. Injectables completely eliminate the 1st pass metabolism... therefore they're less toxic. 1st pass is the much more toxic of the two bc the drug must travel through the stomach first, then your liver. By injecting directly into your bloodstream you'll skip 1st pass.

But it still has to pass the liver and is therefore still toxic, the liver still has to break down the 17aa steroid at some point
