After a cycle and while in PCT how many days do you usually feel shut down?

I just got done with a 4 weeker of prop at 100mg ED. After the first week of PCT there was no shutdown, and I actually thought I wouldnt get one.

Well I am now 2 weeks into PCT and the past couple of days I have felt depressed, lonely, etc. My balls hadnt shrunk but they were definitely numb and I could barely get hard.

Anyway today my erections are getting stronger and Im starting to feel myself again for the most part.

My question is(if you can remember) how many days did you feel "shutdown" in your PCT?

    My PCT:

    Clomid: 100/100/50/50
    Nolva: 40/40/20/20

depends the only way to really know is to get bloodwork done. everyone is different to many factors to give a day.

Stick it out man, as said everyone recovers at different paces. if you plan to cycle again think about adding in hcg into your cycle if they are longer than 4 weeks.

Thanks man. Im fine now, I think the last two days were the most rock bottom im going to feel. Despite feeling like complete shit, yesterday I still managed to hit my squat PR that I hit on my cycle.

^^^^^ Super agree. I got advice from a reliable person that HCG was a very important part of PCT for the above reasons mentioned. I may be wrong, but is Clomid not the culprit many times for emotional sides?

Drop the clomid dose or entirely IMO. Simple Test P cycle just needs nolva. Next time incorporate some HCG in ur cycle that will help comeback time.
Try some St. Johns Wort... its a supplement, but also a MAOI (antidepressant basically but has some rxns that can be big, so dont take it if ur on antidepressants.) it increases the amines in the brain which pushes you towards Mania, rather than depression.

im with all you....I felt like a PMS-ing depressed chick for a few days. Almost pinned some test bc i was so annoyed with my pathetic symptoms....but it just cleared up overnight and all is well, including lifts. never experienced that before either so it really caught me off guard.

I had my PCT lined up, but couldnt get my hands on HCG. But now I will def include HCG during cycle and PCT.

You guys, and many others speak of Clomid sides.
Instead of reducing or eliminating Clomid, why don´t u replace with Toremifene when it´s so easily available?

Nolva and Clomid are a better combo then Nolva/tore.
Nolva binds the receptor the same way tore does. Clomid inhibits neg feedback of the PIT so you get a increase in gonadotropins(fsh, lh, etc). THey work differently thats why they are a good combo for test recovery after a cycle.
and i know theres a thread here saying tamox is better than tore.

I felt like crap for a few weeks after my last cycle and it was 10 weeks...prob about 2 weeks into pct I really started to feel crapy and then over time it got better and better, but there was one week I remember that was horrible! I couldnt feel awake no matter how much caffeine I took.

That's what I just did from my last cycle... We will see how it works. I do not feel to "Shut down" but I'm only 5 days into PCT so we will see.

    Yes...
here is the study u refer to:

"In a recent study done on Tamox, Tore and Rolax comparing HPTA restoration. Tamoxifen can out on top. In 8 weeks, 20mg/ED of Tamoxifen increased LH from 4.54 to 7.73 (+70%) and Test from 496.59 to 835.06 (+71%). After two months, 60mg/day of Toremifene increased LH from 4.05 to 5.05 (+25%) and Test from 496.59 to 709.79 (+42%). "

But this is also mentioned in another study:

"Use Tormifene, which is one of the best available SERMs for restarting a shutdown HPTA. Its also a 2nd GEN SERM and has less occular toxicity and geno-toxicity than both Tamox/Clomid and is VERY effective at raising endogenous T in studies as recent at Apr/2009."

That thread actually have me slightly confused as to which SERM to use. I have all at hand.
Up until now I have been set on Tamox/Tore.
Would love to have more opinions....

I find after about a week I start to pep up a little more... I know some poeple that do this sooner, and others that take a while. Keep training and work through it... :-)
