Gotta agree with BP here...
If your running prop for the first time your going to feel like a pin cushion and with painfull lutes and quad shots I would expect it to have a negative effect on your running....
I think a long ester like Enth that isnt going to bother you would be more appropriate.
I also dont think you need to run a high dose, 350-400mg of test per week is going to help with recovery...
I am trying to stay thin. I am going for the skinny but strong type of training. This isnt my first cycle either . I have done d bol drol and injacted tren. Ironically I have have never used test. I have had good results. This time . I am a little more focused on my goals . So lets change it= test prop every other day. And halo 20 mgs pre workout. By the way 5k isnt really that long of a run . Its 25 minutes or so. I would go with eq if I was a marathoner also. I do a lot of 200 and 400 meter sprints also
